Brilliant Barbara. This is exactly how to write authentically, not calculate and overthink what everyone will think. I see a lot of automotive think and tons of the "how to" stuff. I felt at one stage I was becoming like a machine or robot but that kind of pressure to write is awful. Write spontaneously, from the heart. I shocked myself recently doing just that, not even worrying what anyone would think and the stories did quite well. I just went off on a tangent thinking outside the box. I think many writers are afraid or censor what they write or fear being too outspoken. I don't want to become a machine to write, no way! I want to be fully human. It is so much more a worthwhile experience, otherwise we start being just like everyone else.
