Definitely takes a while to find your niche and where you fit in, what's are good topics for you, etc, your own voice becoming stronger. That happens with experience and not at the beginning. I struggled at the start and still do to some extent, but not as much. Becoming familiar with the platform itself, how it works, publications, etc, took time, effort and perseverance. Knowing the pitfalls and traps is just as important as knowing the good things. Like when to react or respond and when not to, and that takes time to understand. Going with one's gut feeling is also a good way to strengthen one's niche, rather than going with everything published in stories. People publish for money and every story isn't as valuable as it seems. Pushing beyond those boundaries and making one's stories truly valuable is better than trying to amass a lot of clicks and reads.
