The paradox here is that a billionaire and politician should have seen the writing on the wall. Much like voters, if what you’re being sold is too good to be true, the seasoned politician should have known. A politician's first job is to stay in office and keep getting votes. Joe didn’t see the politics that was as plain as the nose on his face.

Fantastic story. Enjoyed reading about the paradox and "moral of the tale". It had a "twist" in it he didn't notice, as all he cared about was votes not how he himself voted.
