Great article, much needed. Many deny debt and don't want to deal with it. I would say that even if you aren't currently in debt, always be careful about financial management, as it just takes one thing to go wrong and you fall back into a pattern of debt. I have no debt now, as I wouldn't be able to get a loan etc due to poor credit history and wouldn't have a good credit score or steady job. But that suits me as I never want debt again. Debt can also be emotional and even reading this reminds me how much emotional debt can turn into financial debt. I know there is a link between relationship break-ups, job loss, and spiral into debt. And vice versa, debt can cause relationships to break down.
