I agree Jacqueline. Glad I read this story, it is something I am recently pondering. Unfortunately selfish behaviour can impact others and create more selfish behaviour. Sometimes it is difficult to know who is or isn't selfish. We should all be free to put our own needs first, even if it means not pleasing others. Putting yourself first and foremost, but not in selfish way. I've been told I can also be selfish, which I can at times, and I don't like that. So if we correct our own selfishness first, we can see where others might be selfish too. Without seeing it in ourselves, it makes it hard to see it in others. The strange thing is sometimes someone who might not seem selfish on the surface can have selfish hurtful behaviour that we don't immediately recognise as selfish. Thanks for sharing this good story.
