I agree Rajul, it gets stressful and time wasting. Also its not a positive feeling. I rather someone is genuinely interested in my story, instead of reading conditionally, to get one back. Unfortunately that is a trap many are stuck in, but there are constructive ways to stop it. When people are genuine with me, I am the same, and engaging like that creates a better community.
