Edited: I agree Sheamus, but Medium really are cracking down a lot on anything they see as unauthentic engagement, read for read, etc. There was an update just now from Scott Lamb on exactly this and why they suspended so many accounts recently. I agree there is an element of "back scratching" that goes on but it's down to each individual as to how they view this. I think engaging as naturally and humanely as possible on Medium is key.
