I agree with this. I understand that those working in 9-5pm jobs may have an edge on producing content, but then again it all depends on the person and job.. They have a bit of advantage as they are out more (more support, empathy, etc) but at the same time it doesn't change who they are or their life experience, etc. Older people, myself included can have a varied interesting past and lots of things to bring to the table, and also have many interesting experiences too. As you rightly say, your life experience are a goldmine and no 9-5 pm job can alter or replace that. It's the ability to write about real experiences, etc, that is the most important, not where those experiences come from or how they come about.
