I am not sure anyone "begs" for readings, but some do so with an attitude of entitlement and it's unpleasant (ie) I've read yours 50 claps blah blah...now it's your turn! When I see stupid comments like that I just block, as I won't reciprocate or engage. Any kind of trickery, force etc, I completely disengage and block. If someone mildly drops me their link and says little or nothing, I am much more likely to read it if I am interested and try to be kind to others who read my stories, but there is a limit! Thanks for featuring my story, I guess I have gotten equally annoyed about it at some stage. Now I make it very clear, if I don't want to read someone's story I won't. End of Story (Literally!).
