I don't want the place anymore, if I am going to have all that hassle. I can imagine what it's going to be like next year. I've no time for this evil crap. It's exploiting vulnerable people who need a home, just like a job where there is bullying and people can't easily leave. I do like my home itself, but not all these issues.

I've read a very similar thing happening tonight with someone in UK, also with a housing association and how their 'contractor' and the HA bullied and harassed the tenant. It was over rewiring of their home that didn't need to be done, according to a report that showed everything was working. The HA were threatening to bring the tenants to court if they didn't agree and called to their home announced, demanding to be let in. At the same time, they had ignored vital things that needed doing for ages. The story wasn't exactly the same, but the similarly is unnerving, and even in another country. Seems like the contractor is at a financial gain from insisting their home gets rewired, and the reason the tenant hasn't agreed is that the last time someone tried doing that, it destroyed their home. I feel it validates my experiences and I can see how the HA have tried to gaslight me, ignoring my experience and what I'm saying, and I feel like they're sticking up for the contractor.

I really feel harassed by them, and it's not an exaggeration. Today I saw a missed call to an older number I had but changed a few months ago. I gave the HA my new number, and the contractor asked me last Wednesday for my new number, saying they would write and send out a letter. When I phoned today, I was told my new number didn't exist on their system, and only the old one. I eventually got them to commit a date in January to replace the filters, but I feel totally sick over what I've gone through over this and I don't trust them for a moment. Sadly I no longer feel very happy where I am anymore, and will consider whether it might be possible to leave, although I know how extremely hard that would be. I've put so much into my home, buying furniture, furnishings etc, as it was all unfurnished but I don't need this evil rubbish over filters and now I've made complaints about bullying and harassment, I will probably be victimised after Christmas.

I haven't closed the case I brought against them, and unfortunately, I feel I should continue fighting it, as there are many unresolved issues I'm not happy with. There's a lot of manipulation that goes on in the housing sector, and although I thought it was only me, it seems it's happening to others also. All they do is blame tenants and want the rent and when it comes to things like maintenance or repairs, they often leave people stuck and I read of one disabled person who was left without heat by the same contractor and other very dubious stories. I read how they went out to people's houses and deliberately did things that would look like they needed repairs or parts, which is all money for them. They logged my routine filter replacement as a repair, and made it look I was refusing it (despite waiting 3 months for them to come back and put in the filters), and the HA believed them and took their side. This is the reality of the situation that they will never admit. Furthermore, when I checked the display messages on the ventilation, there wasn't a message that the filters needed replacing, which always shows when they do, and it looks like they haven't serviced the heat pump that's there. Their contract for that ends soon, as the end of the year. So who knows what kind of manipulation they've been getting up to, and the HA just go along with it, and side with them. They've chose the wrong person to mess around with! I’ve read some disturbing reviews about this company, about how they called out to some people’s homes and deliberately did things to their system that broke it, or made it look broke, so that they could gain money from spare parts and fixing it. When those people got someone to look at it, they were told there was nothing wrong. I’m sure the HA know they do these things.
