I LOVED reading this. Just yesterday where I am staying had a power cut and it was inconvenient. But even more, later in my room the lights went, then electricity! Couldn't charge my phone and ended up moving room at 4am. I was annoyed and definitely inconvenienced, saying I would make a complaint. But am not sure I will. I got a better room, with lights and electricity. I love the depth of your story, about confronting shadows and strangely feel I have done that tonight, confronting darkness and my own shadow. I also felt very connected, whereas in my life at hime, it's completely the opposite. Despite having light, I feel I live in darkness and isolation and don't have connection.
