I think it is so sad handwriting has gone out of fashion. I recall seeing letters from my past, going back 50 yrs, that were great handwritten letters. The grammar and spelling correct, despite the people who wrote them wouldn't necessarily have had the highest education. They still wrote very well and used pen and paper. The art of handwriting I feel has truly vanished. I hardly ever write by hand now. I did occasionally some time ago but not any longer. We live in such high tech times that I feel many don't value the written word anymore, or see it as a way to express thoughts or feelings. They don't value those either, and this is the real problem. Not just whether something is handwritten or typed. When people don't value others, it doesn't matter what mode the message or letter is in. This is truly sad and is total rejection of everything about a person. I think the real problems are often deeper than the mode a message, letter or story is written in. I have not used Canva very much, but I might look into that. I used to draw and paint and recently thinking of starting again, and using technology to enhance that for creating my own images, as well as using my own real photos. I have tons of those, as I like photography. Thank you for sharing this article, it has got me thinking. 🤔
