I think there is a lot of bad behavior now on Medium Jonathan. I was shocked to see someone's stories recently. Not only are their stories of the 'scaremongering' type to attract readers, but they then proudly boost of earning so much money on Medium. No wonder when people read and believe stories like that without critical thinking. But what I didn't like was this writer calling out another writer by name (plastering the name of the writer everywhere!) - even putting the other writer's name in the title of one story. Without any shame or remorse. I believe it's bullying behavior.

Calling the other writer a scammer, and raging that Medium reinstated this other writer. I've blocked the person who wrote these stories and never want to read any of their stories again. The person who writes these kinds of stories is doing it for attention and money. The person never bothered responding to any comments I made on their stories, no matter how good they were - that says a lot! It's extremely rude. Shocking someone has to stoop to the low level of naming another writing and turning other people against this other writer. It's truly horrible and bullying.

Of course, they got lots of reads for their sensationalism, but it's also against Medium rules to call out someone. People were all saying terrible things about this other writer. This is shocking behavior and should be reported. Maybe the writer could write some decent stories to earn their money, rather than post such trashy stories. Unfortunately, it's writers like that who earn the most on Medium, which is sad! Good writers who write proper stories often earn pennies. I've become disillusioned with Medium. I see how some have such power and are very popular, but they're also doing things that are wrong, or even jealous of other writers. I think that often happens, when some writers see another doing well, they get jealous. It's sad.
