If writers are entering into organised WhatsApp and private messaging to agree to engage with only each others articles daily, that is not natural or authentic. That is done purely to game the system and earn money. I have had people message me asking me to do this and I blocked them immediately. That is not right and they should know that. If their membership is revoked because of that, they are responsible for their actions.
