If you think the maintainence company's treatment is bad, today I got a letter from the housing association I rent from, falsely accusing me of not allowing the maintenance company access to the heat pump and ventilation system! Not only that, they told me if it breaks down I will be responsible for the cost. The threatening false tone of this letter is highly intimidating. The bullying representatives in the maintenance company portrayed me as the problem because they couldn't force me to accept their bullying. The company logged a simple filter replacement as a repair and for almost 3 months didn't replace or the filters, or update me about them. At the end of Oct my social landlord sent a text, telling me another company would be dealing with the repairs. When I phoned the company who serviced the pump about this, they were vey rude and abrupt saying if another company is dealing with it, its nothing to do with them! Then last week when I phoned to say I would be away in December and didn't want to miss any letters, they bullied the hell out of me, saying someone would be out this week, but refusing to send a letter. This was after cutting me off already, and was my second time phoning. When I said the day they tried to force a visit on me, didn't suit me, she hung up and told my landlord I wasn't allowing acess. All I asked for was proper notice in writing, respect and be treated in a humane way. Had I not phoned, they either weren't going to replace the filters or it would've been an unnannouned cold call, but if she wouldn't even send a letter and didn't have my new number, it's very unlikely I would've got any notice. Now my landlord is agreeing to this unethical practice and sending me threatening letters.
