I'm not sure the text is that disrespectful. It certainly wasn't edited, but I've had all sorts of weird texts from people who never bother capitalizing or punctuation. Don't know where they learned grammar! But if he tripped you up deliberately, that's more than disrespectful!

I've just submitted a story to never stop writing, and thought it was published but doesn't seem to be. It's weird and has happened before with other publications. One time I look and it seems like it's published, the next minute it's not.
