It's a great experiment, as we need to know what gets most attention and reads. It's difficult to understand medium's earnings, as I have earned pennies for about 7 reads of an article that was quite good, and more on another article. The article that did better was based however on my experience and wanting to share that and how I solved it, so it seemed to attract higher earnings. I think when you relate something about your own personal experience, it draws and captivates audiences more, regardless what the topic is.
