…has less knowledge of you in a condescending way is ridiculous. In anything, not just writing. It’s pathetic that people think that’s how people learn, or how you should teach, or even speak to someone.

It's definitely not how people learn. Being arrogant and condescending, pointing out what maybe perceived as flaws in a non-constructive way is unhelpful and no new writer needs it.
