So sorry to hear of your father's passing
You are very brave and courageous Rhon. I know you will get through this really rough time. You write so naturally, which resonates. It must be scary on your own. Once I had 6 weeks with no home but at least had a bed to lie on, in a tourist hostel. I overcame that tike. It wasn't easy but found somewhere temporarily to live, then moved to a long term studio bedsit. Now I live in my own home (although rent via a housing authority). It took me 14 years to get, as I kept my name on a waiting list. I too am single with no children, and its why it took so long. The housing crisis is really bad. I was very lucky. I will be praying for you, that you find work and a stable roof over your head. Keep writing and don't give up. 🙏
