Sound advice Marcus. It's a mistake to react if you are in bad mood, tired or hungry, etc. I've done it many times, then regretted it. In fact, I did it yesterday. I didn't agree at all what a writer wrote and was a bit taken aback. I wrote two comments, initially a bit harsh. The tone and assumptions in the story didn't go down well. After changing comments a few times (got no response anyway and don't think I would've either), I deleted and thought it just wasn't worth the reaction. Yes, some people do have a "one size fits all" approach and class everyone the same. Some think they are always right. Now I don't respond unless I am in good mood.
To combat bad mood I may have lunch, do other things or sometimes just sleep and sleep it off. Works wonders.
