Surely this must be some mistake! Why would an editor add someone else's content to your story? It makes no sense. I edit for this publication and am always very careful, just adding the footer of the publication at the bottom, after a separator. I add it first, in case I forget. I would never ever dream of adding another writer's content to someone's story. It is insane. No one has any right to do that.

I never touch a writer's story, other than checking for obvious spelling errors, but never ever change anything about the writers style of writing or how they choose to express it. It's hard to believe this was deliberate. It would be shocking if someone deliberately did this! Every writer's story is totally separate and nothing to do with each other, and if this was deliberate it is very wrong indeed. It is very fishy and should be looked into. Why would anyone use a writer's content in another writer's story!! It makes me feel very distrustful now, if this was a deliberate act by an editor. Tampering with a writer's story and doing this deliberately absolutely has to be called out. What else would they do! Our stories should be safe, not tampered with like this!
