Thank you Elle. When I was born in a Mother and Baby Home in 1960's, I was separated from my birth mother at 2 weeks old. After that I was moved to an infant nursery a long way away and became very ill and was in hospital for 4 weeks. I know my BM suffered greatly not just at the separation but the whole ordeal she went through, as the place I was born in was brutal. I can imagine it was similar to loosing a child at birth and they are both similar, only I lived.
