Thank you May for sharing this deeply personal story of trauma with those similarly affected. I read your fiction story, and it is made me cry. I was once that baby given away at 2 weeks old under force. I've never met either my birth parents and both are deceased. The laws in Ireland forbid me (and others) to have our identity respected. It wasn't until my late 50's that I eventually got full unredacted information of both my birth parents - a bit too late!

Writing is also something that is very healing to me. It enables me to work through trauma and express myself, where otherwise I cannot do so. I have loved reading your stories, and thank you for sharing them. I look forward to reading many more.💖
