Thanks Elizabeth. There isn't actually a DNA test as such for introvert/extrovert. I did the DNA test to locate biological family I didn't know. But ancestry had an extra add-on for traits (many, not just introvert). I paid a bit extra for that. Then I was able to upload the data to other sites like genomelink, who offer paid subscriptions for over 300 trait analysis. But bear in mind DNA companies are commercial and it's business to them but personal for consumers. Also I pay attention to how robust and statistically significant the results are, and compare them. I did myheritage DNA too and can compare both dna sets for traits. But this is by no means an exact science, its constantly evolving and updating, which is why my ancestry extrovert trait changed to Introvert on Ancestry but it stayed extrovert on Genomelink. Like you, I feel I am more introverted, but do have some extrovert traits. I would say, in all honesty, go by your own inclinations and experiences. These DNA companies are commercial and results are not always accurate. So they need careful interpretation. Thanks so much for reading and appreciate your response. 🙂
