Thanks Raphael. You are right about traction on medium. The algorithm changed last year and many people spoke about it. I think a lot has to do with followers, etc, and the connection between those who follow, we follow and reads. It favours certain activities and patterns. For example, there is little connection between having nearly 500 followers and sometimes getting little or no reads. Something isnot working, and I'm also looking at the kind of stories I write, as I know the algo prefers ones that have some personal experience, so I am trying to write some more of those, and also maybe topics that are hot or trending. It's all about what people want to read, as much as what I want to write. Some have said what you say that sometimes older articles get attention and newer one's don't. That's happened a few times to me but not very much.

Thanks for your comments about Ireland, it is in many ways underrated. I love being away from the city and near the sea, it's much better, lots of space. Thanks for reading!
