Thanks Sheamus. It's really the whole system was abusive. As a baby born there, I was only there a very short time before I was separated from my mother, but was very ill and in hospital for 4 weeks after I was born. I don't know why or what exactly I had, think it was gastroenteritis. I only found this out 2 years ago! The whole thing is unhealthy. Only in 2022 was I given full unredacted information about my birth parents. I already knew my mothers side and those on my mother's side rejected me, especially half siblings who blamed me. I never knew anyone on my father side and they would have never known of me. The mother and baby institutions were very cruel abusive places. Commissions and investigations were set up a few years ago and women who lived there and children, often there for a few years after birth, were compensated but were prevented from seeking justice, so they couldn't do anything. Typical of institutional abusive systems. Thanks for reading and responding.
