Thanks Sheamus, it's been really stressful! What started out as a simple phone call, has now ended in complaints and a case brought against my landlord for breach of their obligations and my right to peaceful occupancy being interfered with. Since writing this story, things have escalated more. A few days ago I received a threatening letter from my landlord, which falsely alleged I wasn't granting access to the maintenance company to replace filters, despite I've been waiting nearly 3 months for them, since September! I've also phoned them about when they will be replacing them, and in the meantime, got a text from LL that a new company were dealing with the heat pump, so as it's an integrated system, I thought the new company would deal with everything.

That's when things started going wrong. When I phoned the company who should've replaced the filters to enquire about the heat pump and ventilation, and if it meant they wouldn't be servicing it anymore, particularly as they hadn't replaced the filters. The receptionist/call agent was abrupt and unhelpful, saying it was nothing to do with them, and to contact my landlord. She never even tried to look into it. As it was December, and I still hadn't heard from either the new company or their company, I phoned to say I would be away from a good bit of December. I was worried I would miss letters, and then things turned nasty and I was hung up on twice, and told sending out appointment was a 'waste of paper'. Shows their cheap nasty attitude, when they think tenants should be treated like that. Thanks for reading, I appreciate it!
