That is certainly a good test.

Sometimes ghosting somebody is the only way to convey that they need to make a change. If a partner expects you to go down with the ship, then you’re not in an authentic relationship.

That is certainly a good test. It's not always easy to know for sure who is to blame, especially if it is on both sides a bit. But this is one sure way to know. Sorry, I should use the word "fault" not blame.
