The home I currently have is mine. I don't own it but I was allocated it and don't share it. It is permanent.

What I was trying to say is that giving it up would be much more likely to destroy my health than dealing with toxic issues, especially if they are in my control. I have put a lot of energy and effort into my home. It was unfurnished, when I moved it and had to get everything from scratch - bed cooking, carpets, furniture etc. So the contents are mine and I have a right to live there so long as I pay rent.

At the same time, I don't want to go through hell either over maintenance issues, and the fact is those issues can happen anywhere.
