The title to this story is brilliant and so reflecting of the story. Many people misunderstand change, including me. They think they have to become someone new or different but you can change while staying yourself, by accepting yourself, how you screwed it etc and not placing blame on anyone else. No wonder people find it hard to change when they don't know what it actually is. And when we tell people to change, what are we saying "continue being yourself" or be someone else? Often it's not the person we want to change that's important, it's ourselves we need to change by staying the same. It makes so much sense. It's no wonder people struggle with what they don't understand. How can anyone change to be someone they are not. We seek to change others so much without changing ourselves and wonder why it never works.
