This is important too. There are simply people who refuse to validate others who have a great sense of their self-importance and by validating others they loose something of themselves. It can be painful coping with that but if lack of validation seems unusual, or out of proportion, chances are it is. I recommend a healthy solution, of taking stock of our own validation needs and limiting experience especially where we feel unvalidated for no reason that leads us to self-blame and upset. There often is no logical amicable solution and it is better to avoid such situations. I know it isn't always possible to do that but where it is possible, in the long term, it is better for mental health. It's a bit like "just walk away" and sometimes one needs to do that. We can't shape the world as we would like it to be, but we can shape our own destiny.
