This is so important to understand. The algorithm ISN'T our friend, no matter if we're FOM or not. Recognizing this is a major step, painful as it might be. Similarly in life, people can be against us and unless we are strong enough to recognize that, we fail ourselves. We rob ourselves of happiness by keeping the illusion they care.
