This is so true about not forgiving but we can't force ourselves to forgive.

I learned that true, long-lasting forgiveness involves a form of deep empathy — understanding why someone did bad things. It doesn’t mean you justify their bad behavior — it means you understand why they did it.

This is so true about not forgiving but we can't force ourselves to forgive. It is a journey, a process. If its done right, true lasting forgiveness can occur. It takes courage, work, insight and willingness
