Very irresponsible thing to do. How could you even interview someone who was drunk or try to. Would be better to be direct and turn them away. It must also be against company policy to interview someone intoxicated. I would've just turned them away and told them to go home and sober up, then reapply for the job. Of course, no one would be stupid enough to select them for interview next time round! They've already been eliminated by arriving drunk.
