What a fantastic story Jacqueline! I'm nowhere like you. I'm in my late 50's, mismanaged money and credit but came out the other side. Ditched all the debt and was fortunate enough to be given a 2-bed apartment having put my name on the waiting list with council, although it's a housing association apartment. Been living her over a year now and it's a great apartment, although not near buses or shops, and has some infrastructure issues, but it's improving a bit. It's great to read your story. We do need to differentiate between wants and needs!
