Yes always thrive to be authentic. That's how members really help each other, by the content they write. I read an article recently that truly made me question things I had been pondering about but couldn't articulate etc, and reading one medium article really helped. It slowed me down and made me be brave enough to stop pretending to be something I wasn't. Sharing words and courage, as in your article too Samantha is one the most valuable things, even above earning, as that will come eventually with the write mindset.
Can I ask how to write for your publication as a new writer. I am a bit slow writing, doe to juggling many different things but once I get into it, there's no stopping me. How could I submit to your publication for new writers? Also just another question, is it better to use one's real name rather than pseudonym etc. I know some people might be a bit hesitant or shy if they are starting out and I read that members can have multiple user accounts, maybe with pseudonyms for writing about personal experience etc. But I just wonder of you, or indeed others, think that's a good idea. I am OK using my real name but haven't for this account but can change it. But if writing about personal experience, is using a different name a good idea? Guess it boils down to individual preference too and becoming more confident/experienced.
