Yes, it was horrible. I have loved their songs, and wrote a story about Niall Horan, who is from same county I was born in. They were just thrown together in the deep end, with no proper care or support. He was just 14 when he started auditioning. They were just kids. I can imagine how the sudden massive fame overwhelmed them. I read that Liam previously said he felt trapped in hotels etc, when touring, as he couldn't go out much. It was the other side of fame no one talked about. How It affected his mental health. He had such a terrible combination of events in his last days. His ex. taking legal action, the record company dumping him and his girlfriend going home, leaving him on his own. No one at all to care or protect him from harm.
