Yes, there could be so many reasons why people block and it's not always personal. Spam is certainly a big issue and I'm still reporting and blocking spam accounts. It's so awful this is happening to good writers. I've never joined a What's App group and don't even use the app. These kind of spam are worrying, as people can fall for them and many have.
