Your comment about liver seems like it was innocent and well intended. Liver smell is horrible, ugh! I think as writers, we need to understand that we are all capable of being irrational at times, or choosing the wrong response. It would be so boring if we were all predicable and perfect. I know being blocked was probably a hurtful experience, but nobody see's inside someone else's mind or what they're thinking or feeling. Maybe something triggered him by your comment or whatever. Although it might seem an immature response, then we should be mature in how we deal with this too. There are so many people on Medium, being blocked by one person, although not pleasant, unfortunately is how things go sometimes. Writing online is different to other ways of writing (traditional writing etc) and when we don't know someone or see them, people judge others. That's just how I see it anyway. Nobody likes being blocked, it's not pleasant, but in the online writing world, it's something we need to deal with.
